Job summary

Equiliem is seeking an experienced cardiovascular lab professional for our Passaic, NJ facility. The role covers CVIS/CVT/RCIS or RT credentials with hands-on cardiac catheterization lab work, scrubbing, and monitoring during invasive procedures.

The candidate will support physicians throughout cath lab procedures, manage vascular access, document hemodynamics, and ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after interventions.

Qualifications

• Current Cardiac Catheterization Lab experience.
• Ability to independently scrub and monitor procedures.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist (RT), CVT, CVIS or RCIS certification.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) experience required.
• Strong knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment, supplies, and patients for cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
• Assist with cardiac catheterizations, PCI/STEMI cases, peripheral vascular interventions, pacemaker procedures, and select interventional radiology procedures.
• Monitor, document, and calculate hemodynamic data accurately.
• Provide procedural support to physicians before, during, and after procedures.
• Assess and manage vascular access sites and promptly communicate findings to the physician.
• Adhere to all Cath Lab call coverage and emergency response protocols.
• Prepare and educate patients prior to procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
