Job summary

Equiliem in Wayne, NJ is seeking an experienced CVIS/CVT/RCIS/RT with hands‑on cardiac cath lab experience. You will scrub and monitor invasive procedures, collaborate with physicians, and support the lab team in high‑stakes interventional cases.

Responsibilities include preparing equipment, assisting with PCI/STEMI, monitoring hemodynamics, and educating patients before procedures. BLS/ACLS and IABP experience are required, RCIS preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab.
• Ability to independently scrub and monitor procedures.
• Licensed RT, CVT, CVIS, or RCIS certification.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• IABP experience required.
• Strong knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment, supplies, and patients for cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
• Assist with cardiac catheterizations, PCI/STEMI cases, peripheral vascular interventions, pacemaker procedures, and select interventional radiology procedures.
• Monitor, document, and calculate hemodynamic data accurately.
• Provide procedural support to physicians before, during, and after procedures.
• Assess and manage vascular access sites and promptly communicate findings to the physician.
• Adhere to all Cath Lab call coverage and emergency response protocols.
• Prepare and educate patients prior to procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
