Job summary

Mercyhealth in Wisconsin is seeking a Cardiac Catheterization Tech I to support physicians during diagnostic catheterizations and complex interventional procedures. You will help maintain cath lab inventory, train new staff, and contribute to policy development, quality initiatives, and peak-period coverage.

The role requires a Radiologic Technology program, plus two years' Cardiac Catheterization Tech I experience, along with strong analytical and communication skills and safety awareness for

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent.
• Two years experience as Cardiac Catheterization Tech I or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Performs functions of Cardiac Catheterization Tech I.
• Assists Cardiologist during diagnostic cardiac catheterization and complex interventional procedures with adjunctive therapies.
• Maintains cath lab inventory.
• Participates in training and orientation of new staff.
• Assists with development and review of policies and procedures.
• Participates in Quality Assessment and Improvement.
• May work flexible hours and overtime during peak periods.
• Participates in the on-call roster.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Cath Lab Coordinator or Heart Program Director.
