Job summary

Mercyhealth in Janesville, WI is seeking a Cardiac Catheterization Tech to support physicians during diagnostic catheterizations and complex coronary interventions. The role includes maintaining Cath Lab inventory, training staff, and contributing to policies and quality initiatives.

Day shifts start at 7am with a weeknight call and one weekend on-call per month; a sign-on bonus is available. This 40-hour-per-week position emphasizes teamwork and patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent.
• Two years experience as Cardiac Catheterization Tech I or equivalent.
• AART registered or registry eligible.
• Wisconsin State Radiology Technologist License.
• Cardiovascular Technologist registered or registry eligible.
• BLS Certification.
• ACLS Certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assists Cardiologist during diagnostic cardiac catheterization and complex coronary interventional procedures using adjunctive therapies for coronary artery disease.
• Maintains Cath lab inventory and participates in training and orientation of staff.
• Participates in development, review and implementation of policies and procedures.
• Engages in Quality Assessment and Improvement and on-call rotation.
• May work flexible hours and overtime during peak periods.
