Job summary

Sany is excited to announce the opening of ELA Intervention Support Teacher (Grades 6-11) for Citizenship and Science Academy Syracuse Jr./Sr. High School. The ideal candidate will create engaging lesson plans that adhere to the charter's curriculum and understand Common Core standards.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor's degree; a Master's degree is preferred.
• NYS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging lesson plans that conform to the charter's curriculum.
• Possess a strong understanding of Common Core standards and state learning standards.
• Modify, redesign, and develop curriculum as needed.
• Collaborate with staff to determine the charter's instructional goals, objectives, and methods.
• Prepare students for the standardized tests relevant to the content area.
• Have excellent content knowledge and pedagogy.
• Use analytics and data to drive instruction and promote learning.
• Appreciate regular feedback, accountability, and the rewards that come with doing a great job serving our students and communities.
• Demonstrate great classroom management.

Requirements
