Job summary

Edu-Aids is seeking a dedicated Intervention Specialist to join our Cincinnati, OH team. You will develop and implement IEPs, provide direct instruction across settings, and tailor methods to diverse learners with disabilities.

Collaboration with teachers, parents, and support staff is essential to ensure student success and inclusive practices. Applicants should hold a valid state Special Education certificate, bachelor’s degree in Special Education, and prefer a master’s degree; experience

Qualifications

• Valid state certificate in Special Education.
• Bachelor's degree in Special Education.
• Master's degree in Special Education preferred.
• Experience with students with disabilities preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate with staff, parents, and community members.
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs for students with disabilities.
• Deliver direct instruction in one-on-one, small group, and whole-class settings.
• Adapt curriculum to meet diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of performance and IEP compliance.
• Engage in ongoing professional development.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
