Edu-Aids is seeking a dedicated Intervention Specialist to join our team in Cincinnati, OH. You will develop and implement IEPs, provide direct instruction, and adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs of students with disabilities.

The ideal candidate holds a state Special Education certificate, a bachelor's degree (master's preferred), and strong communication skills. You will collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and staff to support student success and

Qualifications

Valid state certificate in Special Education (Mild to Moderate or Moderate to Severe).
Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field; Master's degree preferred.
Experience working with students with disabilities preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and community members.
Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
Provide direct instruction in one-on-one, small group, and whole class settings.
Adapt curriculum and teaching methods for diverse learning styles.
Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents.
Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction as needed.
Maintain accurate records of student performance and IEP compliance.
Participate in professional development and training as required.
Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
