Edu-Aids is seeking an Intervention Specialist in Cincinnati, OH to develop and implement IEPs, provide direct instruction across settings, and adapt curricula for diverse learners. The ideal candidate will hold a state Special Education certification, with a bachelor’s degree in Special Education and a preference for a master’s degree.

Qualifications

• Valid state certificate in Special Education (Mild to Moderate or Moderate to Severe).
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience working with students with disabilities preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and community members.
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Provide direct instruction in a variety of settings, including one-on-one, small group, and whole class.
• Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to accommodate students’ unique learning styles.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure student success.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and IEP compliance.
• Participate in professional development and training as required.
• Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
