Job summary

Edu-Aids is seeking a dedicated Intervention Specialist to join our team in Cincinnati, OH. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment for students with disabilities and will develop IEPs and provide direct instruction.

The role requires collaboration with general education teachers, support staff, and parents, monitoring progress and adjusting instruction, maintaining records, and participating in professional development.

Qualifications

• Valid state certificate in Special Education (Mild to Moderate or Moderate to Severe).
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience working with students with disabilities preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs for students with special needs.
• Provide direct instruction in one-on-one, small group, and whole class settings.
• Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents.
• Monitor and assess student progress; adjust instruction as needed.
• Maintain records of student performance and IEP compliance.
• Participate in professional development and training.
• Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
