Qualifications

• Licensed Intervention Specialist with appropriate state credential.
• Familiarity with State Standards and Common Core Standards.

Responsibilities

• Work cooperatively with classroom teachers to interpret abilities and disabilities, modify curricula as needed, and support students in regular classes.
• Conduct diagnostic assessments for instruction.
• Perform functional behavior assessments and write behavior improvement plans.
• Facilitate IEP meetings and write goals/objectives.
• Advise a group of students and communicate progress to families.
• Utilize research-based practices and culturally responsive teaching.
