Birch Agency is seeking an Intervention Specialist to join our team!

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Intervention Specialist to work with a charter school in Cleveland, OH for the 2026/2027 school year. This position will support students with disabilities in a Resource/Pull-Out setting, providing targeted, small-group instruction and individualized support based on students' IEP goals.

Pay: $43–$48 per hour | Negotiable based on experience and qualifications

The ideal candidate will be a fully licensed Ohio Intervention Specialist with a strong background in special education, experience implementing IEPs, and the ability to provide effective, differentiated instruction in a Resource setting.

Experience

• Previous experience working as an Intervention Specialist or Special Education Teacher
• Experience providing Resource/Pull-Out instruction strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Experience providing specially designed instruction and differentiated learning
• Strong classroom management and student-support skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with general education teachers and school staff
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to supporting students with disabilities and helping them achieve their academic goals

Certifications

• Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist License REQUIRED
• Candidate must be fully certified/licensed as an Intervention Specialist in the State of Ohio
• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field required
• Additional special education certifications or endorsements are a plus
