• Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university in relevant field is required.
• Valid teaching certificate from PSC in appropriate field is required.
• Certifications must align with teaching assignment as per PSC requirements.
• CTAË Specializations education requirements and endorsements apply; pass the GACE Education Ethics Assessment.
• Minimum two years of verifiable industrial work experience.

Responsibilities

• Teaches grade-relevant, subject matter‑specific, and mandated curriculum.
• Develops and implements lesson plans for in-person and virtual learning with documented preparation.
• Communicates with district personnel, students, and parents via phone, email, or video.
• Creates a classroom environment conducive to learning, appropriate for students' development.
• Interacts using internet/web-based tools for instruction and collaboration.
• Prepares progress reports, attendance, and other required documentation.
• Supervises student behavior per the Student Code of Conduct and handbook.
• Contributes to conferences with parents, counselors, teachers, and administrators.
• Performs duties such as material ordering and attendance at trainings.
• Directs paraprofessional support and shares supervision responsibilities.
