Job summary

Denver Zoo Conservation Alliance (DZCA) seeks an Interpretation Programs Coordinator to coordinate live interpretive experiences across campus, ensuring high-quality daily operations and evolving audience-centered programs that tell our Care, Connect, and Conserve stories.

The role supports development, testing, and implementation of new interpretive concepts, while maintaining content standards and resources for staff and volunteers.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• 4+ years of environmental education, museum, or informal science education experience.
• Experience developing and facilitating audience-centered programs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate live staff- and volunteer-led interpretive experiences across campus.
• Develop, prototype, test, implement, and evaluate interpretive concepts and formats.
• Create and maintain content standards and accessible resources for staff and volunteers.
• Support daily interpretive and engagement programs and participate in planning.
• Lead staff scheduling and provide day-to-day direction for interpreters.
