Job summary

Konare Law in Coral Gables, FL seeks an Interpreter/Translator (Bilingual English/Spanish) to support consultations, client meetings, and trial preparations with high accuracy. You will provide consecutive and simultaneous interpretation and sight translations, assisting attorneys while maintaining confidentiality.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of professional interpreting experience, fluency in English and Spanish, and a Bachelor’s or an Associate degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality interpretation during consultations, client meetings, and legal proceedings (in person or by phone).
• Deliver consecutive and simultaneous interpretation between English and Spanish; include Portuguese as needed.
• Perform sight translations of legal documents for clients and attorneys with precise meaning.
• Attend USCIS interviews with clients and attorneys to support interpretation.
• Translate legal and administrative documents between sessions with attention to legal terminology and context.
• Assist attorneys and paralegals with office tasks to improve efficiency.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of client information in line with ethical standards.

• Deliver consecutive and simultaneous interpretation between Spanish, English, and Portuguese, ensuring accuracy and clarity in all communications.
• Perform sight translations of legal documents for clients and attorneys, conveying meaning with precision.
• Accompany clients and attorneys to USCIS interviews, offering interpretation support as needed.
• Translate legal and administrative documents between interpreting sessions with attention to legal terminology and cultural context.
• Offer administrative assistance to attorneys and paralegals, contributing to the overall efficiency of the office.
• Maintain strict confidentiality in handling all client and attorney information, in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or Associate degree with a minimum of two years of professional interpreting experience

• Experience: Minimum of two years of hands-on experience in interpreting and translating in a professional setting
