Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking a scheduling professional to manage interpreter services. You will handle daily scheduling with a multi-line system, review eligibility and assign requests to qualified providers while addressing service gaps and guiding customers on how to request or cancel interpreter services.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a scheduler/dispatcher or equivalent
• Demonstrated experience working with diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds showing sensitivity to cultural differences and concerns

Responsibilities

• Manage daily scheduling using a multi-line phone system and computerized database
• Respond to interpreter service requests from Swedish Medical Center
• Screen requests for service eligibility and review daily unassigned requests
• Assign requests to appropriate service providers
• Identify service gaps and advise on service levels and how to request or cancel interpreter services
• Provide feedback on software parameters and evaluate assignment processes for efficiency
