Global Language Connections (GLC) is seeking experienced interpreters in the Milwaukee, WI area. This is a 1099 independent contractor role — you choose your availability and accept assignments that fit your schedule.

Interpreters will provide accurate and confidential language access for patients and healthcare providers. Fluency in English and Russian, Ukrainian, and Arabic is required, with travel within the service area as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Native or near-native fluency in English and Russian, Ukrainian & Arabic.
• Medical or healthcare interpreting experience preferred.
• National certification preferred (CMI, CHI, 40-hour interpreter training certificate, or equivalent).
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the service area.
• HIPAA compliance and ability to maintain confidentiality.

The Opportunity

Contractor Pay Rate

$35–$40/hr (independent contractor rate). Actual rate based on language demand, certification, and experience.

What You’ll Do

• Interpret accurately and impartially between patients and healthcare providers

Requirements
