Global Language Connections (GLC) in Chicago, IL is seeking experienced Spanish interpreters for an independent contractor role. You will interpret accurately between patients and healthcare providers, while maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries.

Flexible scheduling and high-volume assignment opportunities with a major health system are offered, along with strong support from the GLC operations team and scheduling platform access.

Qualificações

• Native or near-native fluency in English and Spanish.
• Medical/healthcare interpretting experience preferred.
• National certification (CMI, CHI, or equivalent) preferred.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the service area.
• HIPAA compliance and professional demeanor.
• Background check.

Responsabilidades

• Interpret accurately and impartially between patients and healthcare providers
• Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality at all times
• Complete interpreting encounter documentation as required
• Respond to scheduling requests via GLC's scheduling platform
• Travel between facilities within the assigned market as needed
