Riverside Superior Court requests qualified interpreters for Spanish interpretation in court proceedings. The ideal candidate must hold a valid Certified Court Interpreter certificate issued by the Judicial Council of California and be able to travel within the assigned region, including Riverside County.
The position may provide support to the Desert Region (Blythe, Indio, Palm Springs) and requires participation in the full interview and selection process.

We have an opportunity for an Interpreter. We are seeking qualified individuals to perform Spanish language interpretation services for the Superior Court of California and for parties to proceedings. The ideal candidate shall possess and maintain a valid certificate as a "Certified Court Interpreter" issued by the Judicial Council of California on behalf of the State of California.
This position requires travel within an assigned geographic region, however may also require travel throughout Riverside County.
This position will provide support to the Desert Region which includes Blythe, Indio and Palm Springs courthouses.

Step I: All applications will be reviewed to identify candidates who meet the minimum qualifications; those qualified candidates may be referred to step II in the selection process.
Step II: Applicants who meet the minimum qualifications may be reviewed by the Subject Matter Expert(s). Successful candidates may be invited to participate in the examination process.
Step III: Those candidates that are successful in the previous step may be invited to take a pass/fail assessment. Those candidates passing the examination may be referred to step IV in the selection process.
Step IV: Those candidates successful in the previous step, may be invited to participate in an oral panel interview exam (weight 100%) conducted in person or virtually using Zoom. Those candidates who are successful in the interview may be placed on an eligible list. Placement on an eligible list is not a guarantee of employment.
Additional steps for the selection process may include a drug test, background and reference checks.
