Job summary

LSU New Orleans is seeking a MES Patient Access & Interoperability - Coordinator 1 to manage calls, investigate claim issues, and support the Medicaid Interoperability platform. You will ensure accuracy in member education materials and collaborate with API custodians on technical escalations.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree or 6 years of experience, plus strong attention to detail, communication, and Microsoft Office proficiency. Salary ranges from $40,000 to $50,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or 6 years professional experience in lieu of the degree.
• Great attention to detail and follow up.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage projects, assignments, and competing priorities.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Answering and returning calls from the Patient Access and Interoperability queue of the ACD hotline.
• Investigate, document and report claim issues and discrepancies reported by members using the platform.
• Assist recipients with accessing third party applications to share Medicaid recipient information.
• Review member-facing documentation for accuracy in reporting education materials.
• Escalate technical issues to the API custodian and assist Interoperability Interface team as needed.
