Job summary

Explico is offering paid summer internships in accident reconstruction, biomechanics, human factors, and visualization. Interns gain real-world experience in our Novi, Michigan and Englewood, Colorado locations with structured 30/60/90 day goals and meaningful project ownership.

You will research, test, manage technical references, and contribute to forensic case work under supervision. Applicants should be pursuing or have completed a degree in related fields and may have research experience;

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or completed degree in human factors, industrial engineering, or psychology.
• Bonus if you have research experience.
• Comfortable using Mac OS X and Windows 10.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and testing for forensic projects.
• Manage technical references for cases.
• Contribute to forensic case work across assignments.
• Support senior staff in project tasks and documentation.

What You'll Do

Internship Opportunities

Explico employs talented interns in Accident Reconstruction, Biomechanics, Human Factors, and Visualization. Full-time summer internships are available at our locations in Englewood, Colorado and Novi, Michigan.

Currently our Novi office is accepting Human Factors internship applications for the summer of 2027. Previously submitted applications are in the process of being reviewed.

Our internships are paid and involve real world experience in our industry. Some of the general duties include the following:

• Research
• Testing
• Technical Reference Management
• Forensic Case Work

Your manager will determine the scope of your work based on available projects. You will have 30, 60, and 90 day goals with significant responsibility for your own project, while also learning the day-to-day work of forensic consulting.

WE THINK YOU'LL NEED

Experience And Education

• Currently pursuing, or already completed, a degree in a related field (human factors, industrial engineering, psychology)
• Bonus if you have research experience

Software Proficiency

• Comfortable in Mac OS X and Windows 10
• Microsoft Office

Starting pay for our interns and co-ops ranges from $20-$30 an hour.
