Job summary

Explico is a Denver-based forensic engineering firm delivering objective, data-driven analyses. As an Experienced Accident Reconstructionist, you will lead investigations, coordinate with clients and legal teams, and apply industry-standard software to derive findings.

You will also mentor junior staff and contribute to high-impact cases. We value rigorous analysis, clear communication, and a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in accident reconstruction or forensic engineering.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
• Proficiency with reconstruction software and tools.
• PE license or progress toward PE/ACTAR certification preferred.
• Strong communication skills and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage accident reconstruction cases
• Collect and analyze data from vehicles, scenes, and EDRs (occasional travel required)
• Utilize tools such as PC-Crash, HVE, or similar software
• Prepare reports and deliver findings to clients

What You'll Do

As an Experienced Accident Reconstructionist, you’ll take a more autonomous role in analyzing vehicular crashes and presenting findings. You will lead investigations, utilize industry-standard software, and interface directly with clients and legal professionals.

What We’re Looking For

Starting salary range for this position is $80,000 to $140,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
