Job summary

Explico, an employee-owned forensic engineering firm, is seeking an Experienced Biomechanist to lead injury mechanism analyses, manage client interactions, and contribute to technical reports and expert opinions.

You will mentor junior analysts, participate in strategic project development, and collaborate with multidisciplinary case teams on nationally visible, high-impact cases. Hybrid work flexibility is offered.

What You’ll Do

As an Experienced Biomechanist, you will lead injury mechanism analyses for a variety of incidents, manage client interactions, and contribute to technical reports and expert opinions. You’ll also mentor junior analysts and participate in strategic project development.

• Perform detailed biomechanical evaluations involving injury causation
• Interpret medical records and diagnostic imaging
• Author expert reports with clear conclusions supported by evidence
• Collaborate with other experts on multidisciplinary case teams
• Interface directly with clients, attorneys, and insurance professionals
• Mentor junior engineers and analysts

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in applied biomechanics or forensic consulting
• Graduate degree in Biomedical Engineering, Biomechanics, or related field preferred
• Expertise in human injury mechanics and tolerance research
• Excellent analytical, written, and presentation skills
• Strong communication skills and professionalism
