Job summary

Jewish Community Council of Greater Coney Island (JCCGCI) is hiring a Case Manager for its Internship Placement Services (IPS) program in Brooklyn and Manhattan. This full-time, in-person role supports subsidized and paid internships for NYC Cash Assistance recipients enrolled in HRA-approved educational programs.

Responsibilities include placing participants, monitoring activities, and maintaining performance records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services, social services or related field preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in social services, case management, or related field preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; bilingual ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop internship placements with NYC nonprofit organizations.
• Place participants in mandated internships per HRA and JCCGCI procedures.
• Provide guidance and monitor participants’ activities; record attendance.
• Investigate complaints and lead conflict resolution efforts.
• Support participants in identifying resources and ensuring constructive assignments.
• Maintain records of evaluations, mid-points, exits, and narrative reports.
