Mercedes-Benz U.S. International, Inc. invites applications for an Internship in Project Coordination designed for international students.

The role supports planning and coordination of new model projects, with emphasis on training, spare parts, document checks, and meeting minutes in a manufacturing setting. Candidates must be enrolled in a university program, available for at least six months, and fluent in English and German.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and/or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Fluent in English and German (oral/written).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• Team-oriented and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance preparation activities for a new model project.
• Coordinate training, spare parts, document checks and supplier SLAs.
• Assist in planning, coordination and communication of various projects and tasks.
• Execute meetings and create meeting minutes; provide general support.

Essential Functions

• Coordinate maintenance preparation activities for new model project
• Preparation activities includes coordination for training, spare parts, document checks, snag lists, supplier SLA's
• This is an ideal postions for someone who is looking to combine their strong technical understanding with people coordination

Other Regular Daily Tasks

• Planning, coordination and communication of various projects and tasks
• Preparation of system acceptance, creation and tracking of various initiatives
• Execution of meetings and creation of meeting minutes
• General support

Qualifications

Education, Experience and Necessary Skills all must be met in order to qualify for position.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Finance/Controlling, Architecture, Civil Engineering or in a related area, and/or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in University or in a gap year between Bachelor'sand Master’s degree
• Studies outside of the U.S.A (we are not accepting applications from students who are currently studying in the U.S.A)
• A minimum of 3semesters of studies in relevant field of study
• Available for a minimum of 6months
