Job summary

Rachel Contracting is seeking an Internship Estimator/Project Manager to coordinate project plans, assist with bids and document management, and help develop and maintain schedules for earthwork and civil construction projects. Light travel may be required, with an early career focus in construction management or civil engineering.

Rachel Contracting is seeking qualified candidates for an Internship Estimator/Project Manager.

Rachel Contracting is a specialty sitework contractor performing earthwork, demolition and utilities primarily in the Midwest/Central US region. Our team welcomes individuals who are passionate about their work and committed to delivering quality workmanship with integrity and professionalism.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Coordinate and review project plans to support successful project execution.
• Assist with bid preparation and document management, including quantity takeoffs and review of project documents.
• Assist with developing and maintaining project schedules to keep projects on track.
• Support project management activities for earthwork, demolition, and general civil construction projects.
• Light travel may be required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Related construction experience and currently enrolled or working towards a college degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• Currently pursuing a college degree with Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing.
• Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Demonstrate positive teamwork
