Job summary

Infineon Technologies invites a student or early-career engineer in Electrical or Electronics Engineering to join our Andover, MA team. You will help design and validate analog/mixed-signal IP blocks for power management, while supporting layout guidance, documentation and lab verification.

You will gain hands-on experience with simulation tools, collaborate across cross-functional teams, and learn about export controls, compliance, and a global leadership in sustainable semiconductor solutions.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
  • Strong understanding of analog and mixed-signal circuit design principles.
  • Familiarity with simulation tools and methodologies for IC validation.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Basic experience in validation and characterization using lab equipment like oscilloscopes and signal analyzers.

Responsibilities

  • Define, design and validate analog/mixed-signal IP blocks for power management.
  • Provide guidance to layout designers on critical block layouts.
  • Document and review design architecture, implementation and testing processes.
  • Participate in top-level simulation-based verification of the IC.
  • Guide lab engineers in validation and characterization of mixed-signal IP.

  • Design Development: Define, design, and validate analog/mixed-signal IP blocks for power management solutions
  • Layout Guidance: Provide guidance to physical designers on critical aspects of block layout
  • Documentation: Document and review critical aspects of design architecture, implementation, and testing processes
  • Simulation Verification: Participate in top-level simulation-based verification of the IC to ensure performance
  • Lab Validation: Guide lab and test engineers in the validation and characterization of mixed-signal IP

Salary pay information: Location Indicative salary range Andover, MA, United States Wage range that the company expects to pay for a qualified candidate: US$27.00 – US$31.00 Hourly rate will depend on the highest level of education completed.
