Strong research, writing, and advocacy skills are essential. Candidates must be a member of the state bar and hold excellent academic credentials.

Qualifications

• Requires 4–7 years of experience advising on complex customs and international trade disputes.
• Experience handling import duties, tariff classification, customs valuation, country-of-origin determinations, antidumping and countervailing duty matters.

Responsibilities

• Develop legal strategy and arguments in customs and trade matters.
• Handle administrative protests and penalty proceedings.
• Draft and review memoranda, pleadings, briefs, protests and other submissions before agencies and courts.
• Supervise and mentor junior attorneys.
