The ideal candidate will have meaningful experience with U.S. customs and import compliance laws. The associate will advise U.S. and multinational clients on a variety of customs matters, including tariff classification, valuation, country of origin, and enforcement related matters. The associate will also have opportunities to work on export controls, economic sanctions, CFIUS, and related trade and national security matters. While experience in those areas is preferred, the firm welcomes candidates with a strong customs background who are interested in developing additional experience in export controls, sanctions, and CFIUS.
Associates will work closely with experienced practitioners who provide hands‑on mentoring and meaningful opportunities for increasing responsibility and client interaction. Ideal candidates are proactive self-starters who work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
