Job summary

Clarios, LLC invites students to join a Summer 2027 hybrid internship in the Milwaukee area. You will assist the tax team with U.S. compliance, planning, and reporting efforts across international and domestic operations, while gaining exposure to transfer pricing and documentation processes.

The program requires full‑time student status, an accounting major, and a 40‑hour workweek with a hybrid office/home arrangement. Candidates must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a full‑time student at an accredited U.S. college or university.
• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Accounting or related field.
• Ability to be in the greater Milwaukee area in the summer.
• Duration: Summer 2027.
• Up to 40 hours per week.
• Hybrid internship – quiet workspace, option to work in office.
• Authorized to work for any employer in the US without sponsorship, now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Assist with U.S. tax compliance duties for international and domestic operations.
• Prepare tax return calculations and documentation for forms 1120, 1065, 5471, 8865, 8858, and state returns.
• Assist with state income tax notice resolution and documentation.
• Compile and analyze financial information and research tax positions.
• Support process improvements to tax operations.
• Assist with tax planning projects from design to execution.
• Support components of the global tax provision process.
• Assist with transfer pricing calculations, intercompany agreements and documentation.
• Learn to collaborate with non-tax functions (legal, treasury, accounting).

What You Will Do

Work under the supervision of the Tax Managers. Assist with tasks related to international and domestic tax compliance as well as tax planning, tax reporting, tax controversy and transfer pricing.

How You Will Do It

• Assisting with U.S. tax compliance duties related to international and domestic operations.
• Assisting with the preparation of tax return calculations and documentation (including support for forms 1120, 1065, 5471, 8865, 8858, and state income tax returns).
• Assisting with state income tax notice resolution and documentation.
• Compiling and analyzing financial information and researching tax filing positions.
• Assisting in the implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of ongoing tax processes.
• Assisting with tax planning projects as needed, from design and implementation to execution and documentation.
• Supporting with components of global tax provision process.
• Assisting with transfer pricing duties related to calculations, intercompany agreements and documentation.
• Learn to work with non-tax corporate and operational functions such as legal, treasury, and accounting.
