Job summary

Clarios invites a Summer 2027 Data Science intern to join our analytics team in the Milwaukee area. You will translate business challenges into analytical questions and learn data prep, exploration, feature engineering, and model development.

You'll work with Python, SQL, Snowflake, Copilot Studio, LLMs, and Power BI, gaining exposure to forecasting, anomaly detection, and emerging AI techniques. Hybrid arrangement, up to 40 hours/week.

• Currently enrolled as a full‑time student pursuing an undergraduate degree in Data Science.
• Must be able to work in the greater Milwaukee area during the summer.
• Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Up to 40 hours per week; hybrid internship with optional office days.

What You Will Do

Partner with experienced team members to understand business challenges and translate them into analytical questions. Learn industry best practices for data preparation, exploratory analysis, feature engineering, and model development. Gain exposure to machine learning and AI techniques including forecasting, classification, anomaly detection, and emerging generative AI applications.

How You Will Do It

Use tools and technologies such as Python, SQL, Snowflake data lake, Copilot Studio, Open-source LLMs, Vision Language Models, Decision intelligence tools, Azure Data Factory, Matillion, Power BI and Advanced Analytics tools to support analytics initiatives. Participate in project discussions, brainstorming sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities with both technical and business teams. Present findings, insights, and recommendations while receiving feedback that helps strengthen your analytical and communication skills. Attend regular mentorship and development discussions focused on professional growth, career exploration, and continuous learning. Learn how data science projects are delivered in a business environment, from problem definition through solution implementation and measurement.

What We Look For

• Currently enrolled as a full‑time student at an accredited U.S. college or university
• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Data Science.
• Ability to be in the greater Milwaukee area in the summer.
• Duration: Summer 2027.
• Up to 40 hours per week.
• Working Arrangements: Hybrid internship – must have a quiet workspace away from interruptions, with the option to work in the office. Be able to maintain regular contact with the supervisor/team via virtual methods.
