Eliason Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Coordinator to manage daily shipping and receiving operations in Minnesota. You will ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective shipments while maintaining strict quality control.

The role requires 2+ years in shipping/logistics, comfort with carrier systems and ERP software, and a proactive, organized approach to problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; associated degree preferred.
• 2+ years in shipping, logistics, or related field required.
• Experience with carrier systems and ERP software.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate outbound and inbound shipments, ensuring compliance with policies and international regulations.
• Prepare shipping documents: labels, bills of lading, documentation for domestic and international shipments.
• Track shipments and address delays, damages, or issues during transit.
• Communicate with carriers and suppliers to negotiate rates and confirm pickups.
• Maintain inventory movement records and update system data.
• Ensure compliance with safety, customs, and hazardous materials rules.
• Collaborate with warehouse, sales, and customer service to meet delivery needs.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings in shipping operations.
• Prepare shipping activity reports and metrics.
