Job summary

The Linn-Benton Community College International Programs Office seeks an International Student Office Assistant (Learn/Earn) at the Albany Campus. You will help engage international students, host activities, and connect students to campus services.

You must be enrolled in at least 6 credits with a 2.0 GPA as part of the Learn & Earn program; hours are about 10 per week, potentially more during orientation and breaks.

Qualifications

• Must be a LBCC student enrolled in at least 6 credits with a 2.0 GPA.
• Experience in multicultural settings or with international populations is a plus.
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain student records and department forms using system software, Excel and Word.
• Create content for social media and keep channels updated.
• Greet students and visitors in the International Programs Office.
• Support recruitment by guiding campus tours to prospective students.
• Assist new students with entry processes, orientations and registrations.
• Connect international students with resources for cultural adjustment and academic success.
• Plan and help execute group activities to engage international students.
