Job summary

CVS Health offers a structured internship program for US Non-Accredited Foreign Graduates to apply didactic learning in real-world pharmacy settings. After passing FPGEE and TOEFL, you will complete internship hours under a preceptor and prepare for licensure exams within 18 months.

During this mixed learning plan, you’ll support pharmacy teams, learn SOPs, ensure safe dispensing, and develop leadership skills while traveling to stores as needed.

Qualifications

• Foreign Graduate from a Non-US Accredited college prior to program start.
• FPGEC certification is required.
• Pharmacist licensure in the state where the position is based within 120 days of internship completion.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to help Pharmacists and Technicians manage patient health.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide empathetic, personalized patient service and assist with immunizations and other services as needed.
• Counsel patients, obtain medical history when appropriate, and escalate issues to a licensed pharmacist.
