Job summary

Dnata is seeking a Passenger Service Agent in New York to handle check-in, seating, and customer assistance for international and domestic flights. You will verify documents, issue boarding passes, and coordinate with airline staff to ensure smooth operations at the gate and on the jetway.

The role requires strong communication, reliability, and physical stamina to stand and move during shifts, with a focus on safety and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid state driver's license and FAA/airport IDs or authorizations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and walk for extended periods.
• Push, pull, lift and load up to 70 pounds.
• Exceptional customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Electronic check-in of passengers for international travel.
• Verification of documents for international and domestic flights.
• Assign passenger seats.
• Ensure correct boarding passes are provided to each passenger.
• Verify ticket and seat reservations.
• Match manifest to on-board count.
• Announce arrivals and departures as necessary.
• Provide information to passengers/customers as requested.
• Connect/disconnect Jetway/stairs as necessary.
• Assist with baggage tagging and baggage claim reports.
• Maintain current knowledge of all flight times during shift.
• Maintain liaison with Airlines, Customer Service Representatives and Ground Handlers.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
