Kids for the Future is seeking an International Logistics Coordinator to manage the global movement of goods, ensuring on-time delivery and regulatory compliance. This role collaborates with customers, vendors, customs brokers and carriers to optimize transit and documentation.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in international logistics, knowledge of import/export procedures, and familiarity with CargoWise or similar systems, contributing to cost control and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics and/or Transportation or related field.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in international logistics or freight forwarding is preferred.
• Knowledge of import/export procedures and documentation is required.
• Familiarity with CargoWise is preferred.

Responsibilities

Summary

The International Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing and overseeing the international movement of goods and materials. This role ensures that shipments are delivered accurately on time, and in compliance with all international trade regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Fosters strong relationships with customers and vendors to strengthen the company's position in the marketplace
• In collaboration with team, drives continuous improvement efforts throughout the station to improve our customer experience and to enhance operational efficiencies
• Ability to adapt to and manage change in a manner that results in little to no adverse impact to station or customers
• Promotes global reach by working closely with global partners to identify and close business opportunities and to strengthen our brand
• Ensure compliance with all applicable international trade laws, import/export regulations, and company policies
• Proactively keeps management informed of major developments
• Monitor and manage transportation costs, analyze freight bills, and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, carriers, and warehouse teams to resolve delays or issues during transit
• Stay updated on international trade regulations, incoterms, and market changes affecting global shipping
• Works with existing sales team to execute sales strategy. This includes, but is not limited to, personally building and maintaining a book of business and providing executive coaching and support to team as needed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor'sdegree (Business, Logistics and Supply Chain, Transportation, or associate field)
• Minimum 2 years' experience in international logistics or freight forwarding
• Knowledge of import/export procedures, customs regulations, & documentation required
• Familiarity with CargoWise preferred
