Job summary

Pure Ground Ingredients, based in Nevada, is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to support our growing international ingredient supply chain. You will coordinate demand planning, purchasing, inventory replenishment, and supplier relationships across domestic and global suppliers.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience importing food ingredients, managing 50–100 open POs, and coordinating ocean freight, documentation, and customs. Proficiency in ERP (Odoo) and Excel is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or related field.
• Experience coordinating international shipments and import logistics.
• Purchasing or sourcing experience with spices, herbs, botanicals, food ingredients, or internationally sourced products preferred.
• Understanding of ocean freight, import documentation, and customs processes.
• Experience working within food-safety, quality, and compliance standards.
• Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• ERP experience (Odoo) preferred; ability to learn quickly.
• Strong Excel and data-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support ongoing demand planning and time-phased material availability reviews with sales, planning, and operations teams.
• Monitor inventory positions, stock levels, and replenishment to support demand and production.
• Coordinate purchasing of spices, herbs, botanicals, and ingredients from domestic and international suppliers.
• Request and evaluate supplier quotations and negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms.
• Generate, issue, and maintain purchase orders within the ERP system.
• Own the PO lifecycle from creation through confirmation, shipment, receipt, and closure.
• Manage 50-100 open purchase orders and follow up on delivery schedules.
• Coordinate timely arrival of international shipments (ocean freight), including vessel schedules and freight forwarders.
• Track supply exceptions and inventory shortages and escalate as needed.
• Coordinate import documentation (commercial docs, ISF filings, customs clearance).
• Serve as primary contact with freight brokers, customs brokers, suppliers, and logistics partners.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships and communicate forecasts, orders, and lead times.
• Identify disruptions and develop cross-functional solutions.
• Maintain accurate purchasing, shipment, inventory, and supplier data in Odoo.
• Follow food safety, quality, traceability, and regulatory requirements.
• Add KPIs around PO aging, on-time delivery, and data accuracy.
• Strengthen master data quality in purchasing and Odoo.
