Job summary

Amerantbank is seeking a Client Services Associate I to provide top-tier service to an assigned portfolio of international clients, including personal and commercial accounts. You will help ensure compliance with KYC/KYA/AML standards, maintain documentation, and collaborate with multiple bank units to meet service levels.

The role focuses on handling inquiries, processing transactions, opening accounts, and managing assets such as time deposits and loans.

Qualifications

High School degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred in banking/finance/business administration or related field.
Applicant may be NMLS registered or willing to register prior to employment.
At least one year of experience servicing international customers’ accounts.

Responsibilities

Provides day-to-day personalized customer service under quality standards defined by the Bank for international clients.
Ensures transactions are processed within service levels and escalates issues to management when needed.
Addresses and resolves client concerns, claims and queries within established quality and efficiency parameters.
Coordinates with multiple bank units to exceed customer service expectations.
Keeps abreast of banking products and processes related to delivery of these products and services.
