Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in international relations, international business or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience managing DoW international cooperative agreements and ASCAs.
  • Active Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

  • Review, approve, and manage international Acquisition and Cross-Servicing Agreements (ASCAs).
  • Support Technology Security and Foreign Disclosure processes to ensure ITAR/EAR compliance.
  • Provide expertise for Foreign Military Sales and Conventional Arms Transfer policy objectives.
  • Maintain relationships with DoD legal counsel and Department financial management professionals.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in International Relations, International Business, or a related field
3+ years of experience supporting the development, tracking, and administration of DoW international cooperative agreements and Acquisition Cross Servicing Agreements.
Active Secret clearance

The Joint, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Interagency Division provides expert support services to a range of customers spanning across the Department of Defense, Federal Civilian, and international markets. JOID provides a diverse portfolio of analytical and programmatic capabilities to help our customers make informed decisions on their most challenging issues. The Industry and Security Analysis Group (ISAG) within JOID provides analytical, technical, and program support to promote, grow, and protect the U.S. industrial base. ISAG’s support spans the Department of Defense (DOD), Department of Commerce, and other agencies to deliver critical decision support to national security leaders. Our team informs policy decisions, enables execution of comprehensive strategies and monitors and reports on the effectiveness of implementation. This enables senior leaders to execute strategies for developing and sustaining a robust industrial base that meets our nation’s strategic resource objectives. From policy to practice, we are a team of economic and national security professionals providing innovative solutions for our Nation’s most pressing security challenges. We have an immediate need for an International Agreements Specialist to provide onsite support out of the Pentagon and/or the Mark Center in Alexandria, VA.

Responsibilities

The International Agreements Specialist will support the newly formed Office of the Assistant Secretary War for International Armaments Cooperation. Provide support to International Cooperative Research & Development Agreements. Review, approve, and manage international Acquisition and Cross-Servicing Agreements (ASCAs). Support Technology Security and Foreign Disclosure processes to ensure compliance ITAR and EAR. Provide expertise for Foreign Military Sales and Conventional Arms Transfer policy objectives, including preparing and writing project status summaries. Maintain relationships with DoW legal counsel and Department financial management professions to ensure legal and policy matters are tracked accurately.

Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in International Relations, International Business, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience supporting the development, tracking, and administration of DoW international cooperative agreements and Acquisition Cross Servicing Agreements.
  • Active Secret clearance
Pay Range Information

Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Virginia, Pay Transparency Salary range: USD $120,000.00/Yr. - USD $140,000.00/Yr.
