Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Relations, Engineering, or related fields.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting DoW acquisition programs, security cooperation initiatives, or defense exportability issues.
  • Active Secret clearance; familiarity with ITAR/EAR regulations; able to work fully onsite as required.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Office of the Assistant Secretary of War for International Armaments Cooperation on DEF projects.
  • Provide expertise in the selection, design, and development of DEF project proposals to enable Foreign Military Sales.
  • Coordinate with Military Service acquisition offices and other DoW agencies on issues related to exportability and acceleration of FMS processes.
  • Analyze DoW international standardization, requirements, acquisition, and policy documentation to streamline FMS.

The Joint, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Interagency Division provides expert support services to a range of customers spanning across the Department of Defense, Federal Civilian, and international markets. JOID provides a diverse portfolio of analytical and programmatic capabilities to help our customers make informed decisions on their most challenging issues. The Industry and Security Analysis Group (ISAG) within JOID provides analytical, technical, and program support to promote, grow, and protect the U.S. industrial base. ISAG’s support spans the Department of Defense (DOD), Department of Commerce, and other agencies to deliver critical decision support to national security leaders. Our team informs policy decisions, enables execution of comprehensive strategies and monitors and reports on the effectiveness of implementation. This enables senior leaders to execute strategies for developing and sustaining a robust industrial base that meets our nation’s strategic resource objectives. We have an immediate need for an Exportability and Acquisition Analyst to provide onsite support out of the Pentagon and/or the Mark Center in Alexandria, VA.

Responsibilities

The Exportability and Acquisition Analyst will support the newly formed Office of the Assistant Secretary of War for International Armaments Cooperation, specifically the Defense Exportability Features directorate. Provide expertise in the selection, design, and development of Defense Exportablity Features (DEF) project proposals to enable Foreign Military Sales to partner nations. Support outreach to Military Service acquisition offices and other DoW agencies on issues related to exportability and acceleration of FMS to partner nations. Analyze and coordinate DoW interntional standardization, requirements, acquisition, and policy documentation in support of streamlined FMS processes. Analyze, recommend, and implement best security and anti-tamper best practices to enhance the exportability of US defense products.

Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, International Relations, Engineering, or related fields
  • 3+ years of experience supporting DoW acquisition programs, security cooperation initiatives, or defense exportablity issues
  • Active Secret clearance
  • Familiarity with ITAR and EAR regulations
  • Able to work fully onsite based on client needs

Pay Range Information

Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Virginia, Pay Transparency Salary range: USD $110,000.00/Yr. - USD $122,500.00/Yr.
