Job summary

UW–Madison invites applications for an Admissions Counselor for International Case Management. The Madison-based role focuses on processing international undergraduate applications, evaluating credentials, and supporting a growing international applicant pool.

Responsibilities include working with students, counselors, and families, using Salesforce CRM, and collaborating across offices to improve service. Evening/weekend work may be required during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with individuals from broad cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
• At least one year of professional experience in admissions or related field.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic office environment.
• Ability to leverage technology including office software, database systems, CRM, etc.
• Evening and weekend work may be required during peak times.

Responsibilities

• Receive, evaluate, and process student applications per established policies.
• Assist international applicants; identify and interpret external examinations and documents.
• Collaborate with the international team to determine solutions.
• Maintain timely communications with students via email, phone, and CRM.
• Provide training and support to Operations and Transfer teams as needed.
• Contribute to recruitment events and outreach efforts.
