Hylant is seeking a Captive Reinsurance Accountant in Elm, PA to support evaluation and management of reinsurance contracts, claims, and reinsurer relationships. You will prepare technical, financial accounting of premium, claim and reserves based on statements of accounts or bordereaux.

Responsibilities include reviewing contracts, settling claims, generating reports, and advising internal stakeholders on Statutory and Reinsurance Accounting.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in reinsurance accounting, insurance or similar financial area.
• Proficiency in MS Office, primarily Excel, Outlook, Teams.
• Skilled at building and maintaining internal and external (carrier) relationships.
• fluent in English.
• Ability and willingness to travel by car or airplane for meetings, conferences, or other business-related functions.

• Keep SOP/training guides up to date for role and processes in collaboration with Captive Account Executives.
• Perform other duties and special projects as requested.

The Opportunity:
