Hylant is seeking a Captive Reinsurance Accountant in Hawaii to support evaluation and management of reinsurance contracts, claims, and relationships with reinsurers. The role ensures compliance with company policies, efficient claim settlements, and effective cross-team communication.

You will prepare technical and financial accounting of premiums, claims, and reserves based on statements of accounts or bordereaux, review contracts, and drive process improvements.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in reinsurance accounting, insurance or similar financial area.
• Proficiency in MS Office, primarily Excel, Outlook, Teams.
• Skilled at building and maintaining internal and external (carrier) relationships.
• Fluent in English.
• Ability and willingness to travel by car or airplane for meetings, conferences, or other business-related functions.

The Opportunity:
