Job summary

Salmon is a technology-driven financial company delivering a banking and lending platform across Southeast Asia, starting in the Philippines. The role focuses on building and owning Salmon's Frontline Employees Database to run HR and operations for around 4,000 frontline staff.

You will design, implement, and scale end-to-end solutions, collaborating with HR, Operations, and IT partners; expect hands-on development with n8n, Retool, PostgreSQL, and REST APIs, with growth into broader internal

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with n8n, Make, or another low-code automation platform.
• SQL skills and relational databases proficiency.
• Experience with Retool or similar platforms for internal apps.
• Working knowledge of Python and/or JavaScript for scripting/automation.
• Understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, and integration patterns.
• Proactive, independent working style with good English for international stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own Frontline DB end-to-end: data, integrations, documentation, and MVP development.
• Design, build, and maintain automation workflows in n8n.
• Develop and improve PostgreSQL data structures for internal solutions.
• Build internal applications and forms using Retool.
• Integrate HR and enterprise systems via REST APIs and webhooks.
• Provide internal support for existing tools and workflows (~20% of role).
• Grow MVP solutions into reliable internal products as needs evolve.
