Elevation HR is excited to be partnering with a Construction & Engineering business to appoint an Internal Recruiter in Sheffield on a full-time, permanent basis. You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle for high-volume trade and engineering vacancies, from sourcing and interviews to onboarding, while building talent pipelines and maintaining compliance.

Job description

Elevation HR are excited to be working exclusively with a Construction & Engineering Business as they look to appointment an Internal Recruiter on a full-time, permanent basis in Sheffield.

Responsibilities

• Managing the full recruitment lifecycle for high-volume trade and engineering vacancies, ensuring projects are fully resourced to meet demanding timescales
• Sourcing and attracting skilled candidates through a variety of channels, building and maintaining talent pipelines
• Screening, interviewing and assessing candidates, ensuring they have the right skills, qualifications and experience for each role
• Verifying compliance documentation, including certifications, right to work checks and industry-specific safety requirements, ensuring candidates are fully compliant before deployment
• Building strong relationships with hiring managers and project teams, providing regular recruitment updates and market insights.
• Coordinating the mobilisation process, arranging onboarding, travel, accommodation and all pre-start requirements to ensure a seamless candidate experience
• Maintaining accurate recruitment data, monitoring pipeline activity and producing reports to track recruitment performance
• Keeping up to date with market trends, candidate availability and pay rates, using your knowledge to support recruitment strategy and workforce planning

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Previous recruitment experience and market knowledge within the construction and engineering sectors.
• Confident managing high-volume recruitment campaigns in a fast-paced environment.
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle, with the flexibility to travel occasionally to another Yorkshire-based site.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence, challenge and manage hiring manager expectations.
