Fortune Brands Innovations is seeking an Internal Posting Only-2nd BDL DMC Operator to maintain the door machining center and ensure accurate cuts as doors pass through the machine.

You will set up equipment, follow safety/quality guidelines, and participate in rotation on the line. A forklift license and strong mechanical aptitude are desirable, with a commitment to safe, efficient production.

ABOUT THE JOB:

In this position, you’ll have the opportunity to: maintain the operation of the door machining center to assure that proper cuts are being made to the doors as they pass through the DMC.

YOUR ROLE:

Safe work habits Responsible for the machining of doors through the machine center Forklift license Housekeeping in the surrounding area Able to set-up and make adjustments to the equipment during production Able to make modifications to the equipment when changeovers occur Good mechanical aptitude Successfully complete and utilize lockout/tag out training Must follow safety, operational and quality guidelines Assisting in job rotations on line as needed Other duties as assigned

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $49,940 USD - $59,488 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
