Job summary

Fortune Brands Innovations in Indiana is seeking a skilled operator to machine doors to product specifications using a 5-axis CNC Router. You will set up tools, perform tool changes, and conduct quality inspections to ensure parts meet standards.

You will mentor and train new associates, resolve quality issues with Group Leaders and Quality personnel, and support production improvements in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate/HSE or equivalent manufacturing experience
• Ability to obtain Forklift License
• Ability to be certified in all LOTO procedures for respective area
• Ability to be certified in all jobs of respective area
• Manage ambiguity while working through stressful situations
• Positive attitude and a willingness to work with others

• Make offsets or adjustments in CNC control based on quality inspection data

• Support identifying production process, personnel & equipment issues in area

• PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• WORK ENVIRONMENT:
• While performing the duties of this job, the associate works around mechanical hazards, noise and or vibration daily. Extreme temperatures, wetness / humidity and being outdoors.
• MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• COMPUTER SKILLS:
• Ability to run respective inventory system (Great Plains, E21, MES etc.).
• LANGUAGE SKILLS:
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to complete daily Pre-Use Inspection Sheets.

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $49,940 USD - $59,488 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
