BluePearl Pet Hospital in Lafayette, CO, is seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician for the Internal Medicine department. The role involves acting as a liaison between internists and clients, assisting with anesthesia, ultrasound, and endoscopy, and handling lab work.

Schedule is Monday–Thursday during the day, with a starting pay range of $25–$45 per hour dependent on experience. There is a sign-on bonus up to $5,000 for licensed candidates.

Qualifications

• Liaison between internist and clients regarding patient histories, care instructions, lab results, and updates.
• Strong anesthesia and phlebotomy skills preferred.
• Assists with endoscopic and ultrasound procedures and imaging.
• Maintains patient records and client communication via phone, email, and in person.
• Training provided; additional duties as assigned.

Responsabilités

• Calculate medical math for dosages, CRIs, and Iv fluids.
• Induce, monitor, and recover anesthesia.
• Set up for ultrasound and radiology procedures.
• Assist with endoscopic procedures and equipment maintenance.
• Discharge IM patients with client education (insulin, fluids, feeding tubes).
• Support with lab sample collection and processing.
