MedVet is seeking an Internal Medicine Veterinary Technician (Assistant) to join our clinical team in a fast-paced environment. You will support internists with patient care, anesthesia management, and client education, while maintaining high standards of compassion and teamwork.

The role emphasizes calculations, CRI setup and teamwork in a busy internal medicine setting, with a Mon-Thurs 7a-5p schedule and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• State license preferred; prior veterinary experience required.
• Experience in internal medicine or anesthesia is desirable.
• Strong math and drug calculations skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up constant rate infusions (CRI) and perform related calculations.
• Induce, monitor and recover patients from anesthesia.
• Prepare for ultrasound and radiology procedures.
• Assist with GI, nasal, urinary, and airway Endoscopy.
• Discharge patients and educate clients.
