HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital in Port Charlotte, FL is seeking an Internal Medicine Residency Program Director to establish our Internal Medicine Residency Program. The Program Director will lead the program's organization, standards and integration with hospital services to promote graduate medical education.

Board-certified internal medicine physician with minimum three years as core faculty or associate program director in an ACGME-accredited program is required; the role includes 50% clinical

Qualifications

• Board-certified internist with leadership in residency education and program development.
• Minimum of three years’ experience as physician core faculty or associate program director in an ACGME accredited Internal Medicine residency program.
• Must participate in ongoing scholarly activity, including peer-reviewed publications.
• Schedule: 50% clinical and 50% GME focused, with integration to hospital services.
