Job summary

Fairview Health Services is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician to join the M Health Fairview Clinic - Woodwinds in Woodbury, MN. You will provide comprehensive, patient-centered internal medicine care, handling acute issues and chronic conditions while emphasizing collaboration and continuity of care.

The role supports a flexible 0.8–1.0 FTE with patient encounters averaging 18–22 per day and a 34-hour patient contact week, backed by integrated EPIC and Nabla AI for efficiency.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited ACGME/AOA Internal Medicine residency training program.
• BC/BE with the ABMS or AOA.
• Licensed or ability to obtain licensure through the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice.
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota.
• Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, patient-centered internal medicine care for adults, including management of acute conditions and chronic disease.
• Collaborate within a 20-provider primary care practice with onsite specialists to support quality outcomes and continuity of care.
• Utilize Fairview’s Nabla AI documentation support and EPIC EMR to streamline charting and care coordination.
• Contribute to preventative care, patient education, and care planning with a flexible 0.8–1.0 FTE schedule.
